Ride the Brainwave Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone that came out to support Team Dustin's Hope on Saturday!  It was a great day and the fundraiser was a  great success!!  We all had so much fun!  Also, a big thank you to Children and the Earth for putting on this amazing event!  They are such a great organization and we will continue to support them for years to come!

Cherie Shaves Her Head!!

For those of you who did not make it to the Darger Reunion- you missed out!! Dustin's aunt Cherie shaved her head to raise money for Dustin!!! Cherie said that as long as Dustin could not breathe she would do whatever it takes to get him better! Raw Foods Class

THANK YOU to everyone that came out to support Dustin on June 28th!!! We had an awesome turn out and were able to raise some funds to help Dustin with some much needed medical expenses and care. It was great to see all of you and hope you had a fun night and learned some healthy tips to give your body what it deserves! . Special thanks to Megan Darger and Marinna Siri for hosting this event!

Upcoming Fundraiser Events

Hey family, friends, and all of Dustin's many supporters! We are very excited to announce two upcoming events that you all can come out to and give Dustin some love and support!! We are looking forward to both of these events and can't wait to see you all there!

We will be holding a donation only Raw Food Class, taught by the amazing Megan Darger. All proceeds will go to support Dustin. If you haven't tasted her cooking then this class is a must! She blows any restaurant (raw food or regular) out of the water! Come learn some yummy recipes, taste some amazing food, and support Dustin.

Gratitude

What are you grateful for today? Do you ever stop to think how lucky you are that you can breath with out even a second thought? It's just something our bodies are trained to do automatically for survival. 

BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE!!

Dustin struggles for every one that he gets and they are very shallow and limited!

BE GRATEFUL YOU CAN GET UP AND RUN!!

Get up off that couch today, step away from the computer and TV, and get some EXERCISE!!

Update on Dustin....Ways You Can Support

In march Dustin had the opportunity to go to a week long retreat at Harbin Hot Springs. It was a great healing week for him mentally and physically and a great experience. Unfortunately, once he returned home he has been struggling greatly with his oxygen levels and having a hard time breathing. 
For those of you that have not been around Dustin lately, I'd like to put in to perspective for you what he is dealing with on a daily basis and what I mean when I use the word "struggle".
Several times a day (or more) Dustin will have what I can only describe as an attack on his lungs. When this happens he literally struggles to catch his breath. Imagine that feeling of being suffocated and the panic and anxiety of not knowing when you'll get that next breath again and fill your lungs with air. This is unfortunately Dustin's reality.
Dustin is continuing to seek help and answers from every avenue that he can. He has recently seen a pulminologist that put him back on 24/7 oxygen and has him on an inhaler. He is currently awaiting results from some tests he took after being on a strict diet. He has been seeing an allopathic Doctor, Dr Mangum, who has been working really well with Dustin. And he continues to have an amazing support system at home through various friends and family members.
What we have learned is that Dustin's body will not be able to heal if he is not getting the oxygen he needs. He will not be able to recover from MRSA/mold poisoning while he continues to struggle to breath.

Dustin has an amazing support system! There are so many people that are willing to do whatever they can to help and we know that there are more of you out there!

As we continue to look for answers and get Dustin the help that he needs, medical costs are rising and funds are being depleted. We would like to ask for everyone's support on raising awareness for Dustin and helping him find answers to help his body heal. We are putting together some exciting events to help raise funds for his rising medical costs, and would like as many of you as possible to get involved and show your support.
